Literary Journal 2020

In 2020, when COVID was new and this unprecedented lockdown was taking hold, the LBNY Arts Council launched a call to authors for a COVID literary journal.

The Long Beach Arts Council invited local residents to submit essays, poems, letters, and other written works that expressed how the pandemic was affecting them, or reflections on the situation. The goal of this literary project was to individually and collectively examine the impact of isolation brought about by the pandemic on our hearts, souls, and minds. This small but impactful collection of works, created in June and July 2020, presents a diverse set of experiences and thoughts. Click the cover below to view the full journal.
