It's time for another Call To Artists! Long Beach NY Arts Council is seeking a Muralist for consideration for a Wall Art Project.

Please send (3) Three examples of recent original mural/street art with references to ehammer@longbeachny.gov by 4PM Friday, September 24th, 2021.
*You may include a link to your online portfolio in addition to your emailed submission*

On the 20th anniversary of 9/11,
The LBNY-Arts Council, in conjunction with @artsintheplaza gathered in Kennedy Plaza for ‘Remembering 9/11’ - a special event to commemorate the 20th Anniversary through the performing arts.

Featured Artists performed live music, spoken word, dance & other special performances to honor and remember the heroes, victims & survivors of the events of 9/11.

Special Thanks to the event coordinators, featured artists and all who attended. In case you missed it, here are a few highlights from the performers.

The LBNY-Arts Council, in conjunction with @artsintheplaza (Now in its 10th Anniversary!) is hosting ‘Remembering 9/11’ - This Saturday, September 11 from 10:30AM to 3:00PM at Kennedy Plaza.
Featured Artists will come together with live music, spoken word, dance & other special performances to honor and remember the heroes, victims & survivors of the events of 9/11.

Join Us THIS Saturday, September 11 at Kennedy Plaza as we commemorate the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 through the performing arts. We look forward to seeing you there.

*CALL TO ARTISTS*
Long Beach NY Arts Council, in collaboration with Arts In The Plaza is looking for Performance Artists to commemorate September 11th.

Selected artists will have the opportunity to perform at ARTS IN THE PLAZA on September 11, 2021.
Artists are encouraged to submit music, performance, dance or spoken word pieces.

Pieces submitted should be no longer than 5 minutes in length.

Please submit your work for consideration and send any additional questions to lbnyartscouncil@gmail.com no later than August 20, 2021.
