Call to Artists: Mural Design Contest

Long Beach Arts Council is calling on muralists and artists who are experienced in outdoor and large scale wall art to submit a design. ‘The Sacred Sea’ is our theme and we ask that the artists’ design reflect awareness towards our oceans’ pollution issues, conservation and protection of marine life and has a positive visual story. The wall dimensions are 38’ w x 9’ h. Please keep in mind the scale of the space when designing your piece. Your design does not need to take up the entire space, but must be large enough to make an impact on the wall. There will be one design chosen. Entries must be in by Monday, August 26th.

You must be available to paint on September 8th, 2019. Artists must be 18 years or older.
